"Give it a Go" Day at Sommerville by Matthew

On Friday I went to the Tamaki field at Sommerville Base school. I went to the Doctors first then Dad dropped me at Tamaki. In my group I had Thia,Bradley,Ruby,Nikhil and Lauren. We did shot put,relay,boticca,egg and spoon and the obstacle course. My favourite was rugby. The weather was sunny but later it was raining lately. It was a fun day.

Sommerville Sports Day by Joel

On Friday we went to sports day at Tamaki field at Somerville base school. Lionel came to picked us up in the school van. When we got there we got into groups. There was a lot in my group. We did running, skipping and snag golf. The weather was sunny and drizzling. My favourite activity was snag golf. We had lots of fun.

Swimming with the class by Ruby

Last Thursday I went to Panmure  pools with the class. I  went in the van.  It was  lots of fun to be in the pool with others. Nicola taught me to use the board. We used the wall to practice kicking. I want to learn  swim well.  

Jono the special Singer By Mina

On Thursday last week.

There was a concert in the gym. There was an amazing singer who  named Jono came to perform. He was our special guest to the concert. He can play the key board while singing. He is such an amazing singer. He cannot see us. That is the special thing about him. When he was singing I felt like crying. And I really did. Please listen to this song. It will make you cry.

My Easter Holiday by Joel

In the Easter holidays I went to a restaurant to celebrate my nana's birthday. 

It took 1 hour to get there. I went with mum and brother.

We were there for 2 hours.

On good Friday I had an indoor Easter egg hunt with my brother.

I went shopping  at countdown with my mum on Easter Monday.

Fun day at Athletics by Joel

On Wednesday we went to athletics day at mt smart stadium. I went in the bus. Keean and matthew was In my group. It was sunny. I arrived at 10.00 am. I was entered into the 50m run 100m run and javelin. I liked running in the stadium.It was cool. After the race I went inside the blue tents to get my certificate. I came 3rd in the 50m and 2nd in the 100m. I liked the 100m run the most of the day.    

Athletic day At Mt. Smart by Julia

On Wednesday  we went to Mt smart stadium  for Athletics . I went by bus. Mina . Ruby and Kyi Kyaw were in my team . It was a beautiful day. I did 100m, 50m  running and javelin . My Dad came to watch me . I liked the 50m the most . I came first in  the race . I felt  excited to run in the stadium .I went  to the tent to get my certificates after the race . The last event for the day was relay. I did the Relay with Kyi Kyaw ,Matthew and Thiha. We finished at 1:30 and we come back to the class.
