Special Olympics Soccer by Matthew

On Monday, we went to the soccer tournament in Maclean's College. We vs Pakuranga College. Then we won our game. It was so cool. I met some new friends there. We ran at the front of the field. I kicked the ball in the net and I scored a goal. Later on, I ran back and I blocked the ball from the goal. We have our halftime. After our halftime, we went back on again.  I ran to the goal to be the goalie. I kicked the ball to the front of the field. It was a massive big kick. I learnt to be a goalie. I can use my hands to block the ball from the goal. Only the goalie is allowed to use their hands in football.IMG_6941.JPG

Here I am making a hot drink. First I put Milo in the cup and sugar, then the hot water. I mixed it all together. It was so nice to drink. Next time I would like to make it again.

It took a few minutes to cook.
I put strawberry jam on my toast.
It was warm, crunchy and good.
Next time I would like to toast a
crumpet.

Using New Zealand Money By Joel

We have been learning to recognise New Zealand money and using it to purchase items at the shop. We compared the prices that we guessed and the actual cost.
Here is our spreadsheet we used to make the graph.
