All About my Holidays By Julia

I went to the movies with my best friend Aimee. We went to watch “Despicable me 3”.  It was  very  funny. After that  we had Mc Donalds.  I had chicken nuggets and coke with my friend  Aimee. My Mum and I went to Zumba.  I did  some spelling.  I played  Bingo  on my tablet.  I spent most of my time dancing copying  lyrics.  I watched  The Big Bang Theory, Masterchef and some musical programs.

My Holiday in Samoa by Matthew

On Monday, the last day at school, I went with my Dad to Samoa. We went to the village, Aipa. My Grandma is living there, so we went to see her.  We spent the night there with them. In the morning,  I went to the beach with my cousin. It was so fun to swim in the sea. After that, we went back home in the rain.  Next morning it was my cousin’s wedding. There were lots of food there. We played some games and  touch ball was my favourite.It was so fun and after a week I came back home.

My trip to Manukau City by Joel

On Thursday week 2, I caught the bus by myself to Manukau. First, my Uncle dropped me off at the bus stop in Howick. Then I waved to the bus driver and the bus stopped. Next, I tagged on with my AT Hop card and I waved bye to my Uncle. Then the bus went off. The bus stopped at many different bus stops and at one bus stop, I saw Bradley waiting for another bus from my window. I waved to him and he waved back to me. When the bus stopped at my location, which is the MIT building, I tagged off the bus and went across the road to the mall. Meanwhile, when I was inside the mall I went into some shops like Countdown and the 2 Degrees shop. After the mall, I went across the road again to Rainbows End. I met my mum and I went home with her. It was really exciting to go on a bus by myself.  

     

  

Learning About Waterways By Julia

On Thursday,  we went to the  Farm Cove  beach with our class.  We didn’t go swimming because only two people brought their swimming togs.  We picked up the rubbish and put it in the bin. I found a bottle cap.  Then we played Snakes and Ladders.  We went in the Sommerville van and Nicola drove us to the beach. I went on the swings and I had lots of fun.  It was a sunny day and I liked to go to on the exercise machines.

                      Monday  the 20th 2017

we all went in the flash van to Mount Richmond Satellite class at Papatoetoe  Intermediate to play touch Rugby. I met some new friends there. I ran to touch others  with the ball. I got a try. Later I was subbed for Alan. I sat in the shade and watched the game and waited for my turn. I went back in the game. I passed the ball to Thiha and he got  a try. At halftime we had a rest under the tree and we had a drink of milk. After the game we  all went in the classroom and we had lunch.

After that we came back to school.

Touch Rugby with Papatoetoe School By Joel

On Monday we went to play Touch Rugby at Papatoetoe Intermediate satellite class part of Mount Richmond Special School. First of all we went into our big Toyota van. I was like brand new and it was flash also it was white. It took us like 10 minutes to get there. Shortly after we went into the class. We took Kate from EW2 and Andrew from EW3. John was teacher in that class. 7 students from Lionel’s class was also there and Ashwin was there is well. Therefore we had morning tea. Afterwards we went out with the class into the field. Then we started to play Touch Rugby. But first some people went into a tree like me to get some shade and watched some other people play. A moment later It was our turn to play. First we went into a lane and we run and tried to touch the other team. Each team had 5 touches so when someone from the other team touches us we have to put the ball down on the ground and roll it back. The ball we had was a yellow ball. We had milk and water there. After the game we went back inside and find out that we won the game. I was very excited that we won. Lastly we went back to school to have lunch. I had a really fun day playing Touch Rugby at Papatoetoe Intermediate.

On Friday, we went to the basketball tournament at ASB stadium. Then we have our lunch there. We have our first game. We versus Selwyn College. Then we won our game, the our score is 20-4 I dribble the ball than I pass the ball to Thiha shoot the ball.  I ran to the ball, I throw the ball up then the ball went out. Than I went to Lionel's class and we played Howick college. I was happy because I wanted to play the harder teams. Then we have our prize giving. We got first place.

Good Soccer by Thiha

Yesterday we went to Macleans College to play soccer. We went by the van. The place was near the beach. First we played with Pakuranga College. They were better than us. Our next game was with Howick College. We didn’t win the game. Our last game was with Mt Roskill. We won the game. It was fun to play soccer.
