"Dear Mina" from All Your Friends and Teachers

Hi Mina,
I still feel really really sad that your Dad has passed away. I have prayed for your family last night and I will continue to do it for the rest of the week. I wish I was with you right now to give you a hug.

Hi Mina
sympathy09-952e80f7e9089ca40ed66ba4a08c270d.pngI am so sad to hear your dad had a heart attack. He was the best dad I have ever seen.  We all are going to miss your Dad’s friendly greetings and smiles when he came to fetch you at school.  I am missing you today, you are my best friend and I miss your friendly smile in class. I wish I could give you a big hug like you always give us when we are sad.  Thinking of you and your family.

Love

From Julia.

Hi Mina

I am sorry to hear about your Dad. You were lucky to have such a good Dad. Now you can remember him with happiness. We miss your friendly smiles in class.

From Kaine Castle

Dearest Mina, Mavis and family,
We are still shocked and speechless about the sad passing of a loving husband and father.
We all knew him well, he always had something good to say and would help anybody if he would.  The wonderful way he kept the family together when mum was ill.  He was truly a good man and has left footprints in all our hearts.
Mina, we miss you in class, your lovely smile and your comforting hugs.  Wish we would be with you now and hand out those lovely hugs as you always do when we are sad or worried.
Just remember, loved ones die, but don’t leave us.  They are always there, part of our lives and one day we will all be together again.
Be strong and courageous in this sad time.  Our prayers are with you always.
Lots of love,
Valerie, Shyama, Gayle and Khunaf.

Fun P.E with others by Thiha

On Monday, we did P.E. with Edgewater year 13. They were training to present spot activities. We all went to the gym and were divided into two groups. Some of the activities we did were basketball, soccer, tagging, Simon says and duck duck goose. My favorite game was soccer. I was so tired.IMG_0026.JPGIMG_6284.JPGIMG_6345.JPGIMG_6304.JPG

Doing P.E with the Edgewater year 13

On Monday the 7th, our class did PE with the year 13’s of Edgewater College. First, we got changed into our PE gear. Then we went into the big PE room. Next us and the year 13 students got into two teams. After that, we did some warm ups like throwing the ball into the net and the other team did table tennis. Then we played some games like tagging, Simon says, soccer and duck duck goose. The tagging one was really fun because we had to run across the room and try to not get tagged by the taggers. In one soccer game, I got some goals. I was really proud of myself. The last game we played there was duck duck goose. Then we went back to class. I had a really fun time playing with the year 13’s.

Meeting "The Great" by Mina

Today we had a chance to meet one of the great New Zealand Olympians and it was so good to listen to his story about his journey.
In the end, few of us went to the front and learnt some tricks about weight lifting.

"Disco" at Tamaki by Mina

File_006.jpeg
On Tuesday 8th of November. My class and I went to Tamaki Campus at Sommerville school for the ‘’Summer holiday’’ Disco. We went there by the Sommervile school van. Lauren from EWC 3 came with us on the van to. We went inside and my class and I started dancing. I danced with my friends and I got a prize and I got pastels. After that I was singing my favourite song called Side To Side by Ariana Grande. I saw my friends shouting and dancing while I was singing. After that the Disco was over and my Dad picked me up and we both went home. I had and awesome and exciting day!
