Last Week we learned about Earthquakes.
An earthquake is a sudden violent shaking of the ground.
First of all, what should you do before an Earthquake? Practice Drop, cover and hold. Find a safe place close to you at home, school or shops. Planning for survival you will need supplies for at least 3-7 days. You will need food, water, and blankets. Good things to also have are warm clothes, raincoat, torch, radio, and batteries. Don’t forget the first aid kit. Then after an Earthquake, we must remember to switch off electricity, water, and gas. Try to put out small fires if there is a big fire, get out. Check on Neighbours and help.
